| World #1 Doubles Team Coming to Birmingham, Chattanooga and Atlanta | ||
On Wed, Dec. 2 world number one doubles team, Bob and Mike Bryan will team up against fellow Americans Mardy Fish and 6'9 John Isner in the ‘2009 Pelham Challenge’. The Pelham facility, located in a suburb of Birmingham, Alabama, is a new state-of-the-art sports complex. This world class event will also feature a singles match between Mardy Fish and John Isner. These tennis exhibitions offered over 3 consecutive days provides tennis fans with the option to purchase affordable tickets to see current tennis professionals at the top of the game. The exhibition will then move to Chattanooga, Tennessee on Thursday, Dec. 3 where it is being called the ‘Icy Hot Chattanooga Challenge’. The final night of the tour will be in Atlanta on Friday, Dec 4 where the title sponsor of the Atlanta event is Infinite Energy, for the third year in a row. |

The ‘2009 Infinite Energy Atlanta Challenge’ is planned to be held at the Racquet Club of the South. In the 3 days immediately following the Atlanta Exhibition tennis fans can then see the 2009 Australian Open Wildcard Playoff including eight of the top-rising American men and eight of the top-rising American women all competing for a automatic entry into the 2010 Australian Open main draw! This is the first time that this event has ever been in Atlanta and is known for fierce competition as these pro’s fight for their chance to be entered into the happy slam. "This is a great opportunity for anyone in the Southeast to see world class tennis without having to travel.
